Blackfly BUZZ™ detects when a USB drive is inserted into a Windows®- based workstation and notifies your system administrator of this activity. When a USB device is detected, BUZZ™ sends off an e-mail alert with the name of the machine, the current logged in user and the date and time.¹

Seconds later, a follow up e-mail is sent with an itemized listing of every file on the drive, letting you see the contents. For companies where USB drives are restricted or prohibited, BUZZ™ allows Network Administrators to regain a measure of control over their environments.

BUZZ™ will detect any USB device that gets a drive letter assigned to it: thumb drives, external USB hard drives, digital cameras, etc. Installation can be performed using the provided graphical installer or can be scripted for easy, silent network deployment.
